Ahead of Ghana’s 69th Independence Day Celebration, Executives and Staff of Societe Generale Ghana gathered in celebration of culture, unity and national pride.

The event was the climax of the bank’s Heritage Week, a week of activities aimed at promoting national pride and local industry. Staff showed up in beautiful traditional outfits and Ghana Jerseys representing the country’s rich cultural diversity.

Managing Director of Societe Generale Ghana, Mr. Hakim Ouzzani in his remarks, noted that, the independence celebration was a reminder of the values of resilience, unity and progress.

I encourage us all as staff of Societe Generale to also forge ahead in that same spirit of resilience and courage. Let today’s celebration be a reminder that, with focus, determination and unity, we can achieve so much as individuals and as a bank”, he advised.

He also used the opportunity to remind staff of the collective commitment to making culture and conduct a key differentiator in stakeholder interactions. He encouraged all staff to keep embedding ethics and integrity into their service, business decisions and practices.

Staff were treated to a local snack bar which served a variety of Ghanaian treats, enhancing the experience even further.

The event ended on a high note, with music, laughter and camaraderie as staff connected and celebrated, setting the tone for a great weekend.
