Société Générale Ghanais currently seeking for a legal officer, to assist Head, Legal in the performance of functions of the Legal Department.

Key Results Areas

  • Processing of Pre-Disbursement Facility Documentation
  • Providing General Legal Advice
  • Representing Bank in Court and at CHRAJ as well as initiating suits on behalf of the Bank
  • Providing support and regular follow up on all fraud cases discovered by the Audit Department and/or any branch, unit, department or division
  • Ensuring that all services provided to the Bank are covered by Legal Agreements
  • Renewal of Tenancy Agreement
  • Liaising with Human Resources on Labour issues
  • Acquisitions and Registration of Land Documents over property owned by the Bank
  • Working on the Operational Risk Reports and Compliance Reports of the Legal Department.
  • Confirmation of collaterals held by the Bank for the Business Units
  • Performance of all assigned PSP Control

QUALIFICATION

  • First Degree in Law or its equivalent professional qualification Barrister at Law
  • At least 10 years relevant Post Qualification Experience
  • Senior Management Experience/Expertise
