SOCIETE GENERALE GHANA LAUNCHES EXCITING ‘DEPOSIT AND DRIVE’ PROMOTION.

Société General Ghana has launched a new promo dubbed the Deposit and Drive Promotion.

The exciting promotion, launched at a brief ceremony at the bank’s head office, requires customers to simply deposit Ghc500 or multiples of it into their SG Ghana account and stand the chance of winning delightful prizes. On offer is the grand prize of a brand-new Toyota RAV4 Adventure as well as trips to Singapore and Dubai, and many other consolation prizes.

The Managing Director of Société Générale Ghana, Mr. Hakim Ouzzani, in revealing the purpose of the promotion, stated “This initiative goes beyond just deposits. It is about fostering a culture of savings and financial security among our customers. In an ever-changing economic landscape, saving is key to personal and business success”.

Mr. Ouzzani, further offered assurances to customers stating proudly “When you save with us, we do not just hold your money – we grow it. More than 80% of your savings deposited with us are fully dedicated to fund businesses, support entrepreneurs, and drive economic progress”

General Manager, Retail Business at Société Générale Ghana, Mr. Obed Hoyah, used the occasion to explain the mechanics of the promotion. He mentioned that customers would be eligible to win prizes such as Samsung Galaxy S24 mobile phones, microwaves, televisions, etc in the two mini draws in March and May. At the grand draw in September, customers stand the chance of winning fun trips to Singapore, and Dubai as well as the ultimate prize of the sleek Toyota RAV4, having saved and reserved a minimum of Ghc3000 for at least 3 months.

In addition to the ultimate prizes, Mr. Hoyah revealed that the top 5 depositors also win some wonderful rewards.

“Our top five savers earn trips to Dubai, all-expense paid stay at the luxurious Safari Valley, or at the plush Royal Senchi Resort, and gadgets—no luck needed, just consistency”, he stated excitedly.

The launch of the Deposit and Drive Promotion, saw in attendance representatives from the National Lottery Authority who are overseeing the promotion, as well as Toyota Ghana Company Ltd, partnering the bank for the ultimate prize; the Toyota RAV4.

The Deposit and Drive Promotion spans a period of 4 months from February till May 2025, and is open to customers and non-customers of the bank. Non-customers can simply open a new account to participate in the promotion.
